Attraction Marketing,

Attracting the right people to you, why is this important?

Attraction Marketing is so important to any kind of marketing, but most importantly in Internet marketing, and social media marketing, Attraction Marketing speaks about providing Value to your prospects first and foremost and not posting your ads all over the social media sites.

ATTRACTION = means to arouse interest or curiosity, or think of a magnet with a strong pull.

MARKETING =identifying unmet needs, producing products and services to meet those needs.

Your aim is to provide value and educate your customers so they will find you an attractive person to work with. Your customer does not necessarily want your products, compensation plan or anything else you are selling, but what they do want is the result and value your products/tools/skills can provide for them. In one of my other post I refer to a wonderful book by Mike Dillard Magnetic Sponsoring which explains it beautifully. He uses the analogy of a drill, “If someone needs to make a hole, they need a drill to enable them to do this, but they don’t really want a drill, they want the hole – they can’t buy the hole. They need to buy the tools to create the end results they want to achieve.”

People aren’t initially looking for a great compensation plan in a Network Marketing business, no matter how good it is, but they DO want the income that it can generate for them, or the lifestyle the income can give them. So if you concentrate on the results and the benefits you can provide for your customers, they will warm to you and then be attracted to the tools, the marketing plan, to your business or whatever else you have to offer.

So relate to your customers first to provide a solution.

If you are being authentic in your marketing it’s much easier to attract/draw people with similar mindsets to yourself, because you can relate to them.

If you lead with Value you are building a level of trust with your market, encouraging curiosity in your prospects, so they will want to know you and this will prequalify these people quickly.

WHAT ATTRACTION MARKETING IS

Making friends,

Identifying with their problems,

Sharing your knowledge,

Giving value and educating,

Solving their problems.

WHAT IT IS NOT.

Being pushy,

Convincing or persuading someone to buy,

Pushing your product.

Think how great your business will be when you have people wanting to work with you, which won’t happen overnight, however using Social Media Marketing means this will happen eventually, if you do it the correct way.

SHARE THE LOVE!

JEAN.

Attraction marketing on the Internet is definitely were all of the buzz today in terms of separating yourself from everyone else. It is important that you build relationships with your audience by adding value to everything that you do online.

Hi Jean! Attraction Marketing definitely is the new way of doing business and making “selling” obsolete. We all have something that another can benefit from and if we can just be authentic and share valuable info, our customers/clients will be naturally drawn to us. Less effort and more flow! Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderfully concise and simple explanation of a very big subject! And thank you, goddess Jean, for stating what Attraction marketing ISN’T as well as what it is. It’s so easy to fall so in love with our product/plan that we forget to look at it from the other side – and our enthusiasm actually comes over as ‘pushy’.
Building a relationship First ensures this doesn’t happen, ‘cos nobody minds a Friend raving about something great they found.

Bliss, blessings and thanks,

Right on Jean. I can’t think of any thing more important than being attractive to the people you want to attract. If you don’t attract people to who you are, you have no opportunity to sell, enroll, teach, or whatever it is you want to do. That has to come first and you expressed what that means so well.

It is especially important in network marketing because we also must overcome some of the misplaced negative feelings about it.

We must come from a place of integrity that comes across immediately.

Thanks for a great post,

Jean – you hit the nail on the head -no pun intended. Every marketer should read Mike’s book and apply the principles. They have forever changed the way we do business in this industry.

Attraction Marketing is the key!! I myself have seen the difference being trying to convince people to look at my business verses attracting the people that are interested in starting a home business. If people aren’t interested in starting a home business and you keep trying to convince them, then you’re wasting your time, but if you’re branding yourself and making yourself attractive to a target market then it will be a lot easier to bring people in your business. Thanks for sharing Jean!!!
